Rexx Arkana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the prestigious S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. He is also a graduate of the Summer Arts Academy for Creative Composition sponsored by York College of Pennsylvania.
From 1992-1993, Arkana was co-host and co-producer of “Back Alley,” a local origination alternative music and arts television program which ran in Central New York on Adelphia (New Channels) Cable. “Back Alley” took top honors in the category of “Entertainment News” at the 1994 Hometown Video Awards in Atlanta.
He has appeared as a contributing writer in numerous magazines, newspapers and genre publications since 1988, including the Daily Orange, REVIEW Magazine and a multitude of genre press.
